There is no easy answer to this question.
If you asked a realtor a similar question, it would be "What does a house cost?" The answer depends on many variables; web site design is the same. We have to know a lot more about the web site, its roles and complexities before we could attempt to provide a price.
To provide you with a range - we have starter packages including all fees (domain registration, web site hosting, design etc.) from $100 upwards. A $100 Stage 1™ web site is a single page site, and a great place to get started if you aren't quite ready for a full blown web site.

How do your prices compare to your competition?
That's a loaded question, but in attempting to answer it we have to consider several factors:
* Do you want the cheapest web site you can get?
* Do you want a web solution that returns a positive return on investment?
* Are you interested in your bottom line now, or in several months to a year?

Who writes the content for the web site pages?
Normally, you do. The reason being that we probably don't know your business like you do. This can lead to an editing task that can take as long as writing the content!
If you are really too busy to write and collate your content, we can provide someone to handle this for you. Of course, we need to know this at the time of consultation, and we will bill this separately from the design/programming of your site.
Will I be able to update my web site content myself?
The short answer is "Yes".
The long answer involves us asking a few questions:
What do you want to update?
How often do you want to update it?
For instance - this Frequently asked questions section has a login and password protected administration section - it can be updated at any time.
Other sections of the site may also come with management tools - and if you need to update almost any portion of the site, we can built it with this in mind - we even have a specially written tool for uploading files, pictures etc, editing your site text - but if you haven't requested this feature, we don't built it in, as it takes a little longer and increases the cost of your site (ever so slightly) - but you save a lot of time and money making your own small text changes over time.
In any event, we always supply your site to you on a CD when it is finished. This means you will be able to upload changed versions of the files using an FTP program if you need to - even if you opt NOT to have any site elements with editing tools, or our content editing system installed.
